THE FAB5 ORIGIN STORY
The most tragic things happen when sitting on a cliff. My cousin died there, and so did many others. The cliffs used to be a peaceful place until the Skykee council took over. They rule the lands making everyone pray to their goddess Skyk. They say they came to this land because a prophecy. The prophecy said one of the villagers was an embodiment of Skyk. They said it was Cathy, but the village wanted proof. And so, they went to the second tallest cliff and they tried to prove it. Cathy sat on the edge of the cliff obediently and all at once they pushed her off. And all at once she was falling. And all at once she was dead. She was just the first, it got worse.
For the first three years the counsel only tested one person a year. They pushed them off to test if they would fly like the prophecy said. None of them did. One by one they failed, and the Skykees got more desperate. Twice a year for two years. One by one they failed, and the Skykees got more desperate. Every other month for a year. One by one they failed, and the Skykees got more desperate. Until now—once every month. Once every month they kill. They never feel remorse.
We are going to change things. We marched into their temple and told them to stop. We stared right into the face of Seenap, the seeing sister, she saw all—We hoped she saw our anger. We clenched our fists at Sopha, the sister of strength—we hoped she saw how strong and ready we were to fight. We stood defiantly in front of Anae, the snatching sister, she stole our people—we hoped she saw the revenge in our faces. We raised our eyebrows at Angelli, we didn’t really know what she did.
At the sound of Anae’s catchphrase:
“Sister snatch!”
The Skykee Sisters attacked. Sopha struck the people down with ease. Seenap saw their weaknesses and exploited them. Anae snatched and caged people in the blink of an eye. Angelli just stood there.
...
Despite their amazing powers there were more of us, we had them cornered. I stepped forward.
“We demand freedom!” I shouted
Angelli stepped forward. “but the fight isn’t over yet.” Suddenly she turned into a Gelli (a giant blob of green apple Jell-O)! Her Gelli form rolled forward absorbing and killing everybody but me. I was doomed! But before Gelli could turn back into Angelli I pushed her off the cliff. Schloop! She slipped off.
“Nooooo!” Sopha screamed rushing forward. Seenap tried to warn Sopha but it was too late. Sopha tripped on a rock and fell off the cliff. Two down, two more to go. I ran to attack Seenap but she saw it coming and dodged me. How was I meant to defeat someone who knew everything I did the second before I did it?
Out of nowhere Anae ran at me while squawking like a chicken. That was it! Everything Anae did was too random to be predicted! As she ran at me, I stepped behind Seenap. Anae caged Seenap and threw her off the cliff before she even realized she had caged the wrong person. And then there was one. Before I could run Anae shoved me in a cage that she seemed to fabricate out of thin air. I protested as she set me on the edge of the cliff. Suddenly I noticed she was wearing a hat! I reached through the bars of my cage and flipped it off the cliff. Anae jumped off the cliff to grab it.
“Yeah!” I screamed. Throwing my hands in the air through the bars of my small cage.
“Ahhhhhhhh!...” I shrieked as the momentum from the movement tipped me off the cliff. Suddenly I was flying! But... I was being dragged down by the cage. I ran out of energy and stopped trying to fly. I fell and let the blackness consume me. All my memories faded away. All of me faded away. I was not me anymore. I was nothing more than a power and a name: Natoosh, electric touch. Our job wasn’t done in the world, we would be back... This cliff would bring us back.

Variation of CHOPPED
Sometimes my sister and I play a variation of "Chopped".
We have one of our family members pick out 4 mystery ingredients. They tell us whether it is Savory or Sweet. We get 45 minutes to make our meal or dessert (or whatever).
Basically my two other family members are the judges.
The ingredients can vary. For dessert... From brown banana's, to almond butter, to kale, to graham crackers, to even Trader Joe's lollipops.
We have to use all four ingredients in the dish that we make.
the judging is basic. You have to have all four ingredients in your dish, the flavors have to stand out, the plating has to be well done, and it has to be creative.
If you love cooking and are looking for something to do... Try my variation of chopped!
